The Project technical auditors to carry out the necessary independent technical reviews and quality assurance of civil works. Based on a 10% sample of project civil works, they would carry out random and periodic audits of all field survey work; design, cost estimates, procurement arrangements and construction quality of civil works independently selected by them and as directed by the PMU and DPDs as and when necessary. An independent financial management auditor is appointed to review the project financial procedures & systems, Internal Controls and report instances of non-compliance.
